This is the new one from Coyote, myself and Jerree Small. It's slow going but the songs are coming. Don't know when we're going to record it but I think we'll be doing some demo stuff in her house hopefully soon. The tracks:

It'll be a bit different than the first one which is probably a good idea. I like the debut but I think we could stretch out a bit, some more production. Anyway, not much else to report on this one quite yet.

sweet, i haven't read this post in a while. i guess in march i wanted to make a piano record. ha, ha that's not happening. 7 months later we're back on track and going up to mattson's to make our sophomore effort. the tunes:

under the rolling river / i'm not the one / champagne eyes / follow me down / when the night comes / crow's foot / one time / when it all comes down / julia / above the fallen leaves / dreamed about a banjo / anything other

we're getting in a few practices and trying out the tunes live at gigs which is all really great and important. some are old songs, some are new songs. we're getting used to how they feel on.

this is also going to be more of a band effort than the debut which, in my opinion, is a good thing. i dig the first one but after a while it'd be nice to hear some other instruments in there. some bass and percussion.

anyway. looking forward to it. should be a nice one. shooting for a january release.
